This commodore VIC-20 was aquired via a charity shop. It was purchased along with the original box, which is not in good condition, a power supply and a datasette. What makes this interesting is that the box shows a VIC-20 with a different label on the top left of the unit. The label on the unit shows "commodore vc 20" and not the "commodore vic-20" as per the box. This VIC-20 was manufactured in England. The original box has both the English and Afrikaans wording and appears to be larger than the normal box as it included the datasette, power supply and software. This particular item was purchased from Dions, a retail chain store, as part of the price label is still visible on the box. The box also suggests that the purchaser joins a local VIC-20 users group.
